Alright guys... got a new one

havent been on here for a while except just to brows around since i got rid of the wheeler i had.. moved for school to san diego and now drive a 2wd 84 stock efi and yes its really an 84, auto THAT I NEED A NEW ONE OF AS OF YESTERDAY so if neones got one let me know pls... gets 28 mpg... ne way to the point... picked up a taco...

frame is jacked so i need to find an 01-04 frame. truck was actually taken care of pretty well before the accident.. mud flaps and everyhtign are armoraled, interior is spotless, the stock radio is just sitting on the floor. Plan on swapping it all over with a SAS, would really like to get an FJ80 axle but need a deal to be able to afford it... looking more towards the diamond housing. dauls and all that regular junk. gona finally try to have a truck taht will go to the trail at the speed limit and in comfort... this will be the tear down, rebuild, then build, then wheel thread for this truck... money is gonna be the bigest challenge in this since im going ot school full time and dont have unlimited reasorces that some ppl get lucky and fall into. picked it up out of Portland oregon so i left san diego wed night and drove all the way up picked it up and got back saterday.. pretty fun but i must say the old hiney is a lil sore today..

it looks beautiful to me... jus think.. a new frame and some man hours and ill have a really nice truck... and waht i paid for it and what it will cost to fix is nowhere neer what a truck like that goes for

Good luck on the build up.  Wish I would have kept my 01 that caught on fire.  It was exactly like your new truck except tan color and had only 30k miles on it.  Would have made a sweet buildup truck just like this should be.  Good luck on finding all the parts you will be needing.

yea i really like the 4 doors too but could just see those back doors getting killed and didnt feel like dealing wiht the auto to five speed swap again... it would be picken awsome if you could help me out! figure out the cost of your gas from wherever your at to wyotech where my friend will be or give me your address and ill do it...

coma home last weekend and got some work done... mini ex helped a ton

had 2 people watching the doors from hitting the pipe or the ex.. had two on lining up the steering(wich didnt happen, sceweed up the splines) and another guy running hte excavator so i could bounce around and watch the engine compartment.... had to start pulling out the front a bit to get it to fit on the new frame over the towers

Wow that is one nice frame  .  How did you find that?  Sweet wheels and tires too.   Can't wait to see it finished.  What are gas prices down in Cali any way?  Good luck with the build and nice find
