8" axle

so i wan in the junk yard the other day and saw a samari with a couple of 8" under it... anybody got any info-specs on these?

are you sure they were toyota 8 inches?  sami axles look a lot like toyota axles.

they looked identical. bridgfields, drain plug, small..  what do i need to look for???

is the rear axle diff offset?  also sami axles are smaller then toys, the housing, nuckles birfs, everything is smaller.

just looks the same.  but nothing is the same.

Sammy axles look almost exactly like Toy 8" axles. Except scaled down to 70% size, and everything breaks if a tire bigger than a 33 is used.

And yes, if the rear diff is not in the center, it's a Samurai axle. :p

samis are also 5 lug, right?

they have a teeny ring gear, makes a toy axle look like a dana 60.
