looks good what size tire and lift do you have

kneedownnate

Lookin good man  .  That's pretty close to what I was planning on doing, angle up a little for that little bit extra clearance.  Good job!

edit: it'd look pretty cool if you took the lower tube on the bumper and angled it up and connect it right at the end of the top tube.  Does that make sense?

BLACKDOG

Kind of whatg I was thinkin

I used to have one of those homers too, until my roomate shot him with a bb gun   now he's a wall decoration.

Sometimes, at night, I can still hear him... "doh!  Ow!!  Doh!,  Quit hitting me! "  :rivers:

lol

hey is it normal for the driver side axle to be a pain in the ass to pull out and put in???

also whats the deal when i shift into 2nd it hits my shifter and knocks it out of 4x4 low???

6.72:1

Well, I know when or if you front axle is tweaked, that driver-side axle can be a pain! I had the same problem, but I just turned to pinion flange and was able to get it done. I had to lift up on it a little and scream and holler and it went in. Just work it a little. I wouldn't believe that you have twisted some splines on the shaft (which happened to a friend, and it was hell getting it out!)?

As far as the main shifter hitting the transfer case shifter, I know some guys that have taken their main shifter off and used a huge pipe and vise to bend it back a bit to keep that annoying "hitting and popping" out of gear thing under control.

Hope that helps a bit!

I believe Minisimp had to do the same thing with his main shifter, so maybe he has some advice.

first thing is  if the rust is bad  you need to cut it out, what i mean is  if you can push a screwdriver thru  with your hand , then it has to be cut out,  then you can kinda mold some sheet metal, 14 gauge  works best,  but you have some diamond plate,  just kinda mold it with a hammer then  use a drill and drill holes around to attach it to the floor, i used some bondo to smooth out the ruff spots
