square dirveshaft question

hey if you have an ifs runner or pick up can u take the front driveshaft off of that and make it into a square driveshaft for a solid axle pickup ( like will all the parts fit together )

yes but the CV ball has to be clearenced to get anywhere near the travel the solid axle one will  its best to build one out of a rear shaft and run 2 standard yokes

do i have to grease the inside of the 2 shafts where they slip in together

I did, I even put a zerk fitting on my square drive shaft. I'm not to sure it helped that much because of all the slop in between the tubing though.

I don't have zerts or slop, so I can't really help you on either.
