square dirveshaft question

hey if you have an ifs runner or pick up can u take the front driveshaft off of that and make it into a square driveshaft for a solid axle pickup ( like will all the parts fit together )???
looking for a 80-85 not built toyota pickup in tenn, nc, sc, virginia can anyone help????

yes but the CV ball has to be clearenced to get anywhere near the travel the solid axle one will  its best to build one out of a rear shaft and run 2 standard yokes

do i have to grease the inside of the 2 shafts where they slip in together

I did, I even put a zerk fitting on my square drive shaft. I'm not to sure it helped that much because of all the slop in between the tubing though.
