Got a rust free 88 Runner. Grey/Grey 4cyl. (30K on engine) 5-speed. AC. 4" IFS lift new 33s on black steelies, 5.29s locked front and back.

Check Craigslist, especially for the Bay Area, they pop up all the time.  I've decided to keep my runner and SAS it.  I'll have an IFS lift kit for sale in a few months.

i have an 85 4runner with 3'' suspension lift and 3'' body. Because of the mods ill have to sell for 4. It is smogged so you dont have to worry about that.

Yeah, i am interested in yours, i called you the first day you had it up.  My max is 3500 and i know you said it needs a few repairs.  If i can find my way up there i would like to check it out.

PM me if you're serious.  the most critical thing(to me is the steering) and i'm sure you can get both issues repaired for 200-500$.  ask around.  maybe i'm mistaken, but those are the prices i received when i was looking.  i think there's a guy named dan horn([email protected]) who has steering boxes for about $100.  so, there's one issue.  the other would be the driver's side wheel wobble, which is that bushing i told you about.  but to make sure, i'll pay my local toyota dealer and get the actual problem that they found.

or, like i said, just make me a reasonable offer.

Quite a few on Autotrader.com (at least 10 under $3,500 w/i 300 miles). Here is an 89 4cyl for $2,195 in SoCal.

Thanks Shoyrtt.  I have been keeping track of the autotrader rigs in SoCal.  Just havent found one that really get my interest enought to make another trip.  I have already made two trips to only find siginificant problems (that were conviently fogotten over the phone).  So i am a little gunshy to drop the gas money for another trip unless...
