throttle linkage

i need to see some pictures of stocl linkage on a 81 toyota pick up mine is all wrong here is some pictures of it   i see there should be a rod between an arm and swing piece but this is all jacked

Did he swap a 20r in that thing, cause that's a 20r carb?  I'll haft look at mine tomorrow and snap a pic if it looks ok.

to be honest i dont know the tag has been painted over the vavle cover and i cant see the tag on the block. i only bought the truck because it was a trekker

And cause you got a smokin deal too!  Spray some carb cleaner on the block plate a couple of times and if the paint doesn't fall off then you can wipe it off.
