I have a 94 4runner and the other day I tried to let the rear window down and it will not work now. I looked for A fuse but could not find one in the kick panel or under the hood. I do not have a manual so am not sure if there is one. Does anybody have any ideas? I know its likely to be bad but how likely? I would hate to tear it all apart for nothing! Any help would be great!

I think the fuse on my 86 runner was under the hood in the black fuse box passenger side.  It has been so long since I drove the dang thing I cant remember, but yours is a newer model so it may be entirely different. :headscratch:   I will have to think about it.

Window motor maybe :dunno:
Thats what happened to mine :sad2:
Roll me back over !!!

So it just stopped working and didn't give you any signs b/f it quit?

One thing you might check before you go tearing into anything or spending a bunch of money is the rear window wiper. If you removed it recently or moved it by hand, and it isn't set in it's "resting" position, the window switch will think it is in an active position and will not function. So try moving it by hand up and down a couple degrees while turning your key in the tailgate and see if that works, if not, then I would check fuses and motor. Good luck

Do your turn signals work and your head lights?
