Yes indeedy! Have you been? Those trails ROCK. That was our third year up there. We stay at the Twin Hollow Campground in Gilbert, WV, a reclaimed surface mine. The 1.2 miles up the mountain would take us like 20 minutes pulling the trailer. The owners, Wayne and Donna Ellis are the nicest people around.
The first year we were up there they had only just opened the campground. It was just us and Wayne staying up there.
Great times but even though we're moving on to bigger and better things we still want to see about getting up to the campground to say howdy!!

No unfortunatly I've never gotten to go.I have heard alot about it though.My best friend has an uncle that lives on a big farm in winchester and we go up there deer hunting,so one of these trips we're gonna try and check them out.

Haha, yeah my dad made me turn so he could see the mountains in the back (our cabin is way below where i was standing) and he wanted to get those mountains and they were right in the sun. I was starting to get mad because he was going slow just so he could see me get mad...

Thats cool I am a huge OU fan, Its a great school and great football team. I try to go to at least 1 game a year when they are home.

what picture we don't have is when he turned my 4-wheeler over trying to get his upright. We had two on their heads in the middle of nowhere. (that was the Chatahoochie National Forest in GA... on a Monday, I think) Thank goodness for a come-a-long and hand crank winch. Hooeeweee.
Too bad we didn't get pics of the time I flipped mine on top of me against a tree. OUCH!
Ah, good times!!! gotta love war stories.
