Tube Door Mirror

I have a set of tube doors from Shaffer's Offroad and I am exploring options for installing a drivers side mirror.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I'm gonna weld tabs on mine and pick up some motorcycle mirrors ( old school V65 Sabre etc) off ebay on the cheap. I think Marlin runs similar mirrors on his. when they get broken you arent out a bunch of $$ for another one.

i did this on mine...the mirror was like 10$ from car quest

I run a bicycle mirror made by BELL on my exo cage... works good, well... keeps me legal that is.. i don't ever look at it because it's so small. It has a plastic deal and velcro so when you go wheelin take it off... it's just enough to keep roscoe off my arse..

did the same thing on my goofy net doors. Walmart also has the mirrors, I think $10-$15 will get you a box set for driver's and pass. if you want'm

a friend of mine used a xtra toy mirror he has right off the door.he heated up a hacksaw blade and made 4 slots in the mount then ran hose clamps through them lol a bit haggard but it works,still on there

Thats actually not a half bad idea

It doesn't seem like it would look that bad either.

Here is the mount that I made. Then I just switch the mirror when I switch doors. .... Maybe one day I'll buy a second mirror.

Look at a sandrail supply store they have some neat billet mirrors that clamp over tube

just take some off an old runner or pickup and bolt them to the tube on the doors

I had the same mirror on my street bike that had been wrecked like 10 times.

I used a motorcycle mirror on my Willys. Quick, easy and it stays nice and tucked in. I fabbed up a tab mount similar to those weld on auxiliary light mounts you can put on roll bars and bumpers.
