OK so I'm building my truck and I want to run 35x16x15 super swamper tsl boggers, I found the mickey thompson classic II in a 15x12  6 on 5.5 with 3 5/8 back spacing, question is do I need a 12" wheel, I have a much larger selection of 10" wheels, and none seems to sell aluminum beadlocks

I had figured out that it would be to high with 33"s so I figured to hell with it if it's gonna be a little illegal it may as well be a lot illegal

also would I need more back spacing or spacers

I also haven't ruled out 16" or even 17" wheels although tire selection gets slim and cost goes up

I'm still kind of new to this so I would like to have more fact than opinion not to mention that I would kind of like to keep it shiny side up

pic's are posted in the 79/95 tech section titled "and the build begins"

A 10" wheel will work just fine.
Carry extra front axle parts though, that's going to be brutal.
Have you considered the 35x14.50's?

I seem to remember pro comp making some aluminum beadlocks.

how is it going to be illegal? frame height over 27 inches with those tires???   :headscratch:  :headscratch:  :headscratch:

They will stick out a lot.
If he doesn't use mudflaps & fender flares = illegal.

I run the 16/35 boggers on 10" wheels with no problems for years with the stock front axle. Just dont hammer on it while the wheels are turned or, pop goes the birfield!

dieselsmoke

it will be to high but at this point I really dont care, it's gonna be sweet

You could just go for a 14.50, little cheaper and less strain on the drive train.     Then those 15x10 will fit like a glove.
