As some of you have read in the papers or heard on the news here in Sacramento, a young man was shot and killed by his own father while trying to defend his mom, sister, fiancee, and newborn child. Royce was a great friend of mine and like a brother and this tragedy breaks my heart. You can see Royce & Jill with newborn Riley here at this link.

As of now his mom is still in critical condition from being shot 5 times, once in the head. Remaining to pick up the pieces are Royce's sister Brandi and fiancee Jill and newborn baby Riley.
