the coils are out of a chevy astro van and they are the rear coils.  I know a guy who is going to use them front and rear on his jeep.  I love the way they flex.  It's amazing. I can get like 10 to 13 inches of travel out of them and compress them flat.  the only bad thing is once I put my 4.3 in I will have to change them out.
don't know, don't care, but will give it a shot.

Well I just have the passenger slider, grill, plating on bed and paint and I should be crawlin.  I'll let everyone know how she does.  I'll keep you updated untill then.  If anyone knows where I can get a front grill let me know.  I need one,  and don't really feel like making one.

are you talking like only one coat or clear and the whole shot.  I plan on numerous coats and a good clear.  It should look good enough to scratch up.

single stage paint (ie. you don't put a clear over it, its already fairly shiny) not just one coat of it.  you answered my question by saying that you're clear coating it.  The reason I'm asking is because I can't decide on what I want to do for my paint job once I get there.  I'm going to shoot it myslef and don't know if I should spend the money on a multi stage paint job

If your into bashing and scratching your rig all up then I would deffinently go with a stage one.  If you put a clear on and shoot it yourself, any time you may want to tuch it up then you will always have to clear a major section of the vehicle to blend the clear.  Flat paint you can just shoot it and that's all she wrote.  that is kind of the way I see it.  I am going to do it nice once and whatever happens happens.  As far as I am concerned the beauty marks I get after the paint will only make it look a little more natural.

ah yes...the cost thing.  didn't even think about that and I know paint is expensive.  How good are you with a decent enamel rattle can?

oh I don't even want to waste my time with rattle can.  I asked my friend if he wanted to do some real flames on it for me.  We'll see it'd be totally sick if I put real flames on my toyota.  Deffinatly not typical for a wheeler.

because my friend is donig them for free, and I can get the paint for next to nothing.  I won't have much into my paint job.  I'll get my supplies for jobber cost or less and the labor is free. (sorry for hijacking)

I can't afford paint!

I can barely afford primer to keep things from rusting!
