Here is my most recent project.  I started a few months ago after selling my other toy.  It has come a little ways.  If you have any pointers let me know.  here is a before and some during pics.  don't really have any afters yet but its not done. let me know what you think.  here is when I got her

Here I have cut the frame and put on 3/4 ton suburban leafs minus one, and a four link over a 10-bolt

a little more playing around.  and don't worry. the ten bolt was free and I plan on dana 60's front and rear with 40's.

Now that is a nice first gen! I like em linked very good work. I take it this is not your first build.

Are your links .25" wall DOM?

I moved the front axle forward ten inches which took me from short bed to long bed wheel base.  My links are actually some kind of metal with memory.  They are 1.5" OD. with a half inch wall.  here is a picture for you.  It is pretty unbelievable

I like it.  I'd do the same links that way you can use them like rock sliders

how you likin those sub springs? i run the same on mine... are yer links drill stock ? looks just like the stuff i used on mine  1.5  .500 wall drill stock ( heat treated)...   damn.. you basicly have the same setup i have except i have a 12bolt in the rear !

That is one perty truck! I cant wait to see it with 40's on it. Whats the plans for the case/s?

Yeah you got the links right.  It is drill stock.  and for the cases I am currently working a deal for a marlin crawler dual with the 5:1.

chico.    got my 40's today.  have a little more grooving to do and I need some 15x10 rims (six lug) if any of you know where I can get some let me know.  Once I mount them I will have pics.

i have some 15x8's .. you runn 40" tsls or boggers?.. if tsls you could probably get away with it..   you get yer drill stock from eric bass in magalia ?

yeah I got my drill stock from eric.  I have his old 40/17 groundhawgs so I need at least a 15x10. probably with a backspacing also.

It's getting close to road worthy.  I will hopefully have some more pics for you tomarrow.  got alot of the little things done today. I am looking for some four inch bushwacker fender flares for the front if anyone knows of some used ones or cheap let me know.  gotta get some of that tire uder cover for the CHPolice.
