Hey! Richard. Do you have those old mags or just the pics?? I am interested in more pictures of Rubicon stuff. We are fighting for access and that first pic does us good. Do you have a date for it?

Yes I do have the magazines , I would have to go back through them to see the date. It may take a while.

The very first picture is from FOUR WHEELER MAGAZINE , January 1964, page 45. It is from an add for the National Four-Wheel Drive Association. There northwest regional headquarters ; 605 south 17th ave , Yakima , Washington. My dad was a proud supporter of the NFWDA. We first cut our teeth on the Rubicon in 1951, and got our first jeep in 1955, it was a 55 cj5. I too am very much interested in public access in this area as I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly over the years. If more info is needed please let me know. I have a lot of slides and movies (8mm) that are ov some interest too.
