Will 37x14.5/15 Irok's fit on 15x10 rims?  My buddy just got the tires and was wondering if they will fit his rims he has now.  I tried searching but i guess there isn't anything about it or i just suck at searching.

crawlerdan

yes they will, mounted a set last month, and i personally wheel 37x13.5 on a 9 inch rim with no probs

IronClad

shouldnt be any reason why they wouldnt.. i know lots of guys that run 14.5" wide or wider on 15x10 rims.. hell a buddy just mounted his 49" iroks on some 17x10s  :scared:

My brother is running the 36x13.5x15's on 10 inch wide wheels, they work just fine.  He usually aired down to 6 psi and hasn't lost a bead yet  :crossed:

ive had mine down to 2psi, no issues

I've said it before and I'll say it again, try to keep about a 4" ratio.

My 12.50s ride on 8"s, and if I go 13.50, then I would do what Dan did, 13.50 + 9" wheel. So 14.50" would be great on a 10" rim.

Keep those beads nice and tight

Yep, I got the same setup as Simp...
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

Ok, they are mounted.  They are bubbly as heck.  We are both thinking he should have gotten 13.5's instead of 14.5's.  They are wide.  I got some pictures of them but i left my camera in the truck and i don't feel like walking out and getting it.  They measure 36 1/4 inches tall with 35psi.  My MTR's with 98% tread left only measure 35 1/4 with 20 psi.  they are diffenetly more true to the size they are suppose to be.

Any problems of them being too wide and rubbing anything?  I saw the pictures on your snow run thread.  They look good on his truck.  I'm kinda leaning towards the 37 iroks.  Can a radial tire flex as good as a bias tire when aired down?  That's kinda what I like about the 36x13.5x15 Iroks, they're bias ply.

Measure the tire width also.
My 35x14.50 are really 35x17"

He loves the tires.  they work great in the snow.  They do hit the frame in the rear becasue they are sooo wide.  We are thinking he should have gotten the 37  13.5 radials, but that was another $50 per tire.  He likes them though.  he might be getting a bit wider wheel spacers for the rear to keep the tire away fromt he frame.  I will try and get a wide measurement then next time i am up there.  He is like 45 minutes away so i can't really do it quick like.

Thanks bro!  Is he running the 86+ wider axle or the stock 55 inch one?  I'm hoping to avoid rubbing issues in the rear by running the 58 inch axle and some 2.5 inch backspaced wheels.

He has the shorter rear axle with 1 1/2 inch wheel spacers.  The rims are 15x10 with 2.5 inch bs.

Wow, and he still rubs.  Sounds like the 36x13.5x15's would be better for me to fit under an 84 4Runner.  I plan on trimming but I don't want to have to worry about rubbing the frame.  Thanks again Hyena  :beerchug:
