positive camber

when my jeep is sitting with the wheels straight it appears to have positive camber. and i can figure it out i was thinking it could be bad wheel bearings but then it woulds sit with negitive camber. :confused:  can any one help me out hear
if you can read this flip me back over!!

On Toyotas, usually bad knuckle bearings will yield positive camber, not negative.

Jack up the front end off the ground, and watch carefully how the tire moves back to perpendicularly with the earth. Then try to wiggle the tire from 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock and check for excessive play....... Dana axles have upper and lower bearings too

Try backing up about 10 feet and see what happens.

I f it looks like it goes negative you need to set the toe in.

The toe in will cause the tires to pull away on the wheels giving the appearance of a camber problem.

unload the weight on the wheels (put it on jackstands) and see if it is different and report back :)

sorry i might have confussed you guys the tires sit with the top out more than the bottom \ \----------/ / like that

I think the ball joints have eccentric offsets that can be turned to get the camber right. Not sure though.
