I run 33x10.50, Racerunners all around. LOTS of travel: 15" in front, close to 19" in the back. Fiberglass all around. coilovers upfront. soon to be all around. Really need a tranny, mine is a wounded soldier. :]

I gotta make some more skid plates, and I am adding MSD, and 4point belts, plus I just blew a seal in one of my shocks (rebuild) so I got my work cut out for me in between real work and this work.

I have never flexed it out like you 4x4 guys do but after i fix the shock I will take some. that looks really cool, all mine does is jump. :}

That's awesome. It kinda makes me want my 2wd back! Did you make all the control arms and stuff yourself? What kind of joint is that at the top of the spindle/knuckle? Excellent jumper! I want one!

Sick dude!  Did you make those arms yourself?   What springs are you running?

I have a 92 2wd and I am planing on fabing my own arms once I am done building my 85 ( see "91 desert truck" in Project build up section.

You truck looks awsome.  Definatley get up some specs and pics ( little smaller) and some action pics.

I used the total chaos kit 6.5" kit. There are cages over the engine, bed, and in the cab.
I used eibach coils up front and deavers in the rear, I have uniballs instead of balljoints and heims in place of tierod ends. also I dont have any of the stock suspension components, everything was torched off and race ready  stuff was put in. This truck drives where ever  point it. it is as flat on the road as on the dirt. I just added 4point belts and prp seats.
All i need now is a tranny.

It does really well on the trails and in the mud. It is really light and has a lot of travel. I asume it will flex very well. There just arent many trails around here.
I dont have AC or PS either so it isreally light. I am putting an electric fan in next weekend when i have some time. I have a hedman for it and will be boring out the throttlebody. I am gonna put a cam and heads in soon.

nice.... and as far as that tranny goes, have you thought about swapping in a manual tranny instead of the automatic?

BT I got them on the Total Chaos kit. I am gonna need 2 new uppers though in the next few months.
Jimbo, I have though about it but I dont know what all i will need. is there a list for swap. kneedownnate might help me out with an auto but I am at the point where any option is better than what I have. now I slip in 1st and 2nd gear.

Your truck is so frickin sweet!  I hope the shipping will be reasonable enough for it, I'd love to have a little hand in on that truck.  Kinda makes me wanna do something similar to my parts 87, but that's some serious coin in bodywork and suspension.

I have done some suspension tweeking, added harnesses, upgraded the sound system. I will have coilovers on it in a bit, but still looking for that mystical tranny. ha I have my priorities in order dont i.

yeah you need a stick tranny.... i have seen thsoe built up to be pretty stout

update....
I now have fox 2.0x 14" on the rear. they are awesome. you rock crawler guys should switch asap to a shock with hiem bushings instead of rubber. they flex sooo well.
I have a w55 works really well.
I have some picts from a trail run here I dont get stuck. too light.
replaced hiem ends with new FK units.
thinking about going to a toyota run in june. but I cant run this truck at the park. something about no 2wds allowed....
