alternators

the old alt. finally called it quits :rivers: . so does napa make a decent alternator, if not who else does? anyone got a hookup for factory toyota parts?

You know what, I work at NAPA, and I'll tell you to save your time and money.  Nothing I've put on my truck has lasted more than 6-8mos.  I finally got pissed and went to a single-wire 10SI.  Do as Nate says.

It's usually just the brushes that are bad. If so you can replace them yourself.
