First The rear diff now the front

Alright so now the front end of my truck came to an abrupt stop last night on the way home from work.  It is a toyota pumpkin with D44 ends on it.  the thing would not move in 4x4 or if the hubs were locked! so i finally got it home and into the garage and started experimenting i put the front end up in jack stands and if locked and i move one wheel it works fine (this is while the opposite side is spinning backwards) I am sure that it is my diff but what could have happened!  any ideas??  It does have an ARB and 5.29 but the arb wasnt engaged or anything!  If i blew both my diffs in the same week that is just too much bad luck!  I already have the rear pulled apart and had to send my ARB back to them! Any help would be appreciated! thanks!

kinda sounds like you lost the teeth off the pinion gear

you did have 529's front and rear??

Maybe the jam nut came loose and the pinion jammed in the carrier?

Yeah both front and rear are 5.29, i pulled the diff out today but didn't have time to really play around with it.  the axles twist fine its when i turn the diff at the drive shaft flange that it doesn't really move, when i pulled it out the pinion gear looked great as well as the bearing behind it but it has to be either the bearing or the jam nut as mentioned possibly?  who knows...  lets hope its something simple though
