Surfer, saw you're in CA..will you be getting it smogged before the sale?  Does the rest of the truck look like the pic you posted condition wise?  How about the interior?  Any idea what's wrong w/ the a/c?

Pretty much selling it as is, truck looks the same as in the picture except for maybe a few more trail scratches, the interior is ok nothing special but it is not tore up. A/C quit engaging and I was told it will do that when the pressure drops to a certain leve.

OK, is it smog legal and will it pass smog?  I had an 80 longbed in high school and wouldn't mind another    :)

Has everything in the way of smog devices for 1980 hooked up and running, header is CA legal and has the sticker in the door and also has the sticker for the tank too. It passed smog last time and hasn't had a lot of miles put on it since. Also had a new muffler, cat and exhaust system completly replaced 2 years ago.

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I'll end up missing and regretting doing it just like most of the others I've sold. :dunno:

I will speak on how rocksurfer treated his ride, he always maintained it real well and when wheeling he wouldnt even go through much mud because of all the work it would take to clean it up. Sad to see it go.

So far it's going to AZ with me, a few leads on selling it, got one today but haven't got a chance to call him back. I leave for Tempe on the 1st. and will be to busy to deal with selling it at that point. I will probably store it at my daughter's for a couple mos. and then come and get it. At that point my pretty little almost stock truck will go through a major transformation. :eyebrow:

I still can't believe someone hasn't snapped it up yet. It is one neat ride for a moderate rig, goes just about anywhere I want it to.

:dunno: Call a transport co. and ask how much from 91387 Santa Clarita, CA or soon to be a little shorter from Mesa, AZ. Then send me the $ and I'll deliver it to their depot. Or come and get it and drive it home.

It is a Cali original and has very little rust on it.
