One Link Suspension
« on: Nov 18, 2005, 09:58:46 AM »
Ok, so I'm thinking about building a 1-Link suspension next winter.
Has anyone on here built one?
I've been researching them on Pirate http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=235977
So far I can't find a downside to it.
Downtravel is only limited by your driveshaft angles.
Flex is unlimited.
Anti-squat is continous based on where you link is mounted and where you link bars are attached to your housing.
I don't see any reason this wouldn't work for the rear or the front....

Please point out something bad....

Here is an example picture:

You might as well try it. I haven't heard any downside to them, I had even thought about going that rout at one time.
