I just built my crawl box and installed 4.70's in my rear case. About to put it back together but don't know what clutch to buy.  Do I need to spend good money on something like a centerforce or could I get away with a stock style with this kind of gearing. :turtle:

you could get buy with a stock clutch, but I would get one a little stronger just in case. I also would stay away from Centerfource.  Just my  :twocents:

Marlin has heavy duty clutches, these are Asian replacements so you can't go wrong.

stock clutch with a lil heavier pressure plate and you'll be fine.

I got a Marlin 1200# when my stocker went and it feels great.  Very solid and definitely an improvement over stock.  If you want to go a little heavier, he also has the 1600# available.
