Wondering who's running them?  How do they hold up to the punishment?

Also im curious what kind of warranty he offers with the axles?

Looks like a full front set is a little bit over $600 roughly.

You mean like these ?

WHITE_TRASH

If your going to spend the $600+ do it right and go with the 30 spline set from www.longfieldsuperaxles.com  Im running the 27 spline 4340 birfs and I was running the 27 spline 4340 inners from Marlin till I blew the inners up....  Woops. :gap:
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Hey WT, while we're on the subject.

Im debating running 30's or 27 spline.. im leaning twords 27 because I hear that they're guranteed for life and also they're inner changeable with stock birfs if I break one..

What do you think?

Go 30's  You can still change a 30 spline in the (highly) unlikely event that there is an issue with one.  You'd just have to change out the birf and inner at the same time.

are 30's guranteed for life?  if im gonna spend another $100 i'd hope they'd hold up no matter what WITH a gurantee to back them up.

Hyena

On the site it says that the 300m inner cages ones are garanteed for life.  so i guess that mean the 27 splines are also?  I am still glad i went with the 30 splines.  I don't have a problem with beating on my junk anymore.  But the 27 spline cromo's on BBW's truck held up great this weekend.  And a few of us now he doesn't drive easily.

WHITE_TRASH

Yup they are guaranteed the same.  Im thinking on trading my 27 spline innerstar for 30's and buying inners from Bobby.  Not that Im not  having lots of fun changing broken stock :pokinit: though. :headshake:

yea same here WT..

i wanna go with a 30 spline but just didnt' know if I could interchange them with stock birfs in case I broke a longfield on the trail

I doubt i'll break one but Hyena can vouch for how BAD my tires were rubbing the body mount and fender this weekend, it eventually caused me to break a knuckle on the birf.

next weekend will be chop time for the fenders and body mount/ kick panels

I talked to Bobby Long today on the phone about 27 vs. 30 spline and he said the birfields are the same for both, the 30 spline just eliminates the one weak link in the axles since they are 30 spline into the carrier and the hub.  I'm sure most already know this, but I figured that I would post it since I didn't until today.
