Need EGR valve for smog!

I was wondering if anyone had any egr valves laying around. Mine will not pass smog. 83 Toy. Thanks

just take it off and clean it then it will pass. clean the carbin out it is just proble plub.  check  it by using  a vacume pump to see if it opens. you can get a vacum pump at auto zone. They rent them. it will save you a little money

FYI:
I cleaned mine and it ran worse.  Apperently the diaphram spring was used to closing against the carbon build up and fatiged.  When i removed the carbon the valve didnt seal all the way . . . . try it but it may not be your solution.

that isnt  because the cabin its because it was bad. the resan it fails is because there is no flaw.

Yeah thats what happened to me. It ran good but it wouldn't pass becuase it wouldn't work. Then I cleaned all the carbon and crap out and then there was a fat vacume leak. So i need a new one. Thanks
