:pokinit:.   I just realized that that picure is huge.  I'll work on resizing that...

Yes, that wheel is clean for some reason.  I just spent $20 at the carwash and another 45 minutes at home hosing all that stupid mud off.  No matter what your buddies say, NEVER go wheeling the day after it rains.

I hate mud.

My son gets me to drive in the mud when he sees it, and I pay for it for months later when I crawl under the truck to fix something and get a face full of dirt, and that is after I've hit it with a hose which I do after every run.

badge of honor my left foot.

Out here in the desert we hardly ever get to go wheel in the mud.  It makes everything so slippery that it sucks and you can't drive the big rocks as usual.

I'll spend another hour tomorrow cleaning the inside too...

Sissies.  If you had some tires that worked worth a damn in the mud your tune must might change a bit.  Come up here to the PNW and wheel, 9 months out of the year its either mud or snow.  The remaining 3 months its just marginally damp. :hahaha:

I will say it,  MTR's aren't great in the mud.  But i had a bad experience in the mud once.  I had to get a new windshield after that trip.  Lets just say i don't trust tow hooks anymore, especially welded on ones.

I admitted in an above post that I'm a weenie

You're right, the MTR's SUCK in the mud.  They loaded up and didn't unload until I hit pavement.  But down here in the Desert SW in New Mexico, the MTR's are great 99% of the time.  I'll be in the PNW in December- if I put on some SSR's, will you take me wheeling?

So your saying you wheel with people dumb enough to use welde don towhooks then?  Id be more apt to not like the genius welding the hooks on than the mud. ;)

SSR's are worse than mtr's up here.  I ran mine for 2 runs before selling them and buying my sx's.  I couldnt go anywhere at all with them on my truck and I was constantly worried about losing a sidewall.

So you'll be up here in december eh?  Hmmm what date?  I could set up a killer wheeling trip depending on just how stupid you'd like to get.

Getting stupid isn't a problem at all.  I'm all for an adventure.  I dunno If I'm driving up or flying yet.   If I drive, I'll drag my pickup on the trailer and see what kinda fun there is to have.  It looks like it'll be around the week between Xmas and new years, but that could change still.

And no, I dont use weld on tow hooks.  Hyena does.  :haha:

None of us run those kind of tow hooks anymore.  After that incident they were all cut or even hammered off.

Hmm evil thoughts....  If you towed you'd come up on 15 into 84.  That'd lead you right into Oregon at the WA border.  It drops you off on I-5 so its a simple drive from there.  If you dumped off onto 97 north at Biggs junction it'd lead you right by G-dale (cal/WE rock event area) into Yakima which is 50 miles from my house.  That leads you over either snoqualmie pass or White pass into Seattle.

We have area's within 20 miles of my house that have 3-4' that gets drifted into valleys.  Lots of local fun.  Most of the area has about 12-18" otherwise.  Up in the mountains your in 3-5' as a standard rule and we're supposed to get DUMPED on this year.

There was snow on the ground where we went wheeling today...  Only like a little bit in a few places, but there was snow nonetheless.  We're supposed to get more than normal here this winter too.  Colorado is getting dumped on as we type...

I've gotta winterize my Swamp Cooler tomorrow before it freezes here.  Supposed to dip into the 30's this week.---BRRRRRR

I love fall!
