Yeah, he busted his passenger u-joint twice that trip. Pissed him off and now he's upgrading to a d-60. That front 44 is going up for sale, has 5.38's and power locker? I think?

I am always down for another trip to the Con, but I won't be able to get back up there until late Nov(ish). Got a trip to OR planned and family stuff going on. It just frustates me not having duals yet but by Jan my rig will be transforming into an 87 runner so It will be sidelined untill I get the SAS done. I plan to break in the runner body at the Hammers.

As Hyena said, blew it out at Old Sluice, my 2" spacers are really screwing me right now with tire rub/ GRAB the cab mounts and.. well.. break shiz..

I gotta go down next weekend and non-op my 82.. and start trying to figure out whether im gonna be able to afford a tow rig and trailer or do something about the smog situation.. because i gurantee it wont pass smog right now.. it smokes pretty bad.. typical old tired 22R i suppose.

dude throw a good cat on there and give it a tune up and it will pass for sure.  my truck passed with almost no emmisions a couple months ago when I had a cat on.

LOL!  if only it was that easy Pat, seriously last year when I smogged the truck I had to re run every single vacuum line, buy a rebuild POS carb (big mistake) sale my LC Engy header and get a crappy ass stock one with the O2 sensor, did a complete valve adjust, new EGR valve from Toyota, new cap, rotor, plugs, wires all from Toyota, and MANY other little misc. crap for that engine.

I probably spent enough money on it to get it to pass.. i could have just bought another good running 22R. Whats screwing me right now is #4 cylinder has weak compression so its allowing "blow by"  threw the carb and up into the intake.. if i pull off my air cleaner you'll see what i mean.. so thus it burns oil and smokes alot. I used to have a buddy that worked at a smog shop that could hook me up but the shop closed sooooooo.. I'm hesititent to take it to a shop around here because I know they'll just mark me a gross poluter and then im screwed.................

Besides that, Marysville and Yuba City has completely different guidelines for smog than places like Sacramento, Roseville, Auburn ect.   Here for some ODD reason (we're a small town go figure)  they're a hell-of-alot more strict on smogging rules, guidelines, regulations.. whatever you wanna call it.

If worse comes to worse i've already spoken with my cousin that lives in NV and i'll just do a title transfer over into his name.... it would be kinda nice to have the ability to tow it though so I dont have to worry about driving it home and a tire flying off or something

Swapping in those dual's only takes a day with 2 people on it.. IF that... you should have plenty of time. Besides your still in school right?

Dont worry, when I was going in I was by myself in the dark for a while. RokCrawlintoy (ron) and Tacorunner (brian) were in front and behind me and they were way out of my sight. Anyway, I have my GPS. Come on you guys, dont be manginas and just go! I need to save money badly too but im going to try to make it

I installed my dual cases in like 4 hours from start to finish. With bruised ribs even! Just gotta make sure your crawler is all ready to go in and basically just un bolt the old t-case, bolt up the crawler and bolt on the stock t-case. Easy!
