I have a Stock 84 4runner which I have had for about 2 months, driveing it for 1 month. I am use to driveing a 87 subaru Xt "believe it or not, that thing is fast" and I have a driving style to match. I have a probelm, I like it fast and can also enjoy it slow. I am just about willing to drop a ton of $$$ into this truck to satisfy my polar opposites.

The dream:
-Trail-flex 4" lift kit :turtle:
-Dual Ultimate Crawler  :turtle:
-rebuild Tranny
-Brake upgrade, larger Master, V6 calipers and rotors
-rebuild Front and Rear Axels
-5.29 gears
-Detroit in the rear
-35's, perferiably on Beadlock wheels
-Possible engine swap,I need more Power  . Dont know what yet, but have read completly through a few threads including the 3Rz and the 7m-ge engine swaps. I relly like What I have been reading there
-nessacery Protection all around, bumpers crossmember and possible Rollcage.

Problem is I am not the most mechanicaly knowledgable and do not have the avaible space to have a truck on stands while I pick everything apart and clean it. Did I forget to mention that I am horriable impatient and would kill my self If I had to wait 3 years for a BadAss Rig  :tantrum:
Large and expensive list. Depending on funds and what the rest of my investigation brings up I may complete this list in a few stages, or all at once. We shall see what happens. Any and all feed back welcome, except the negative kind :moon:  :moon:

Oh my truck is stock height IFS and it does corners :yesnod: coming down from georgetown that baby was getting the rear loose on every corner. Weeee! I'm sure my drving habits will have to slow down a bit when it gets lift and SAS...or the flexy springs will let me get a wheel off the ground while still being stable. Hmmmm LETS GET SIDEWAYS!

I know and accept the fact that I wont be able to corner, but that does not mean I wont be able to go fast on the straight away.
