Sweet pics Peps!  I read what you went through trying to get to the Roundup......man.....Im pissed off too at whoever those whiny a$$  :moon:  were.

Karma will most definately take care of them. Unfourtunately the 4x4 crowd is mixed with some of the nicest, and unfourtunately some of the rudest people CA has to offer.

I think thats cool you still had a good attitude about the whole thing, regardless.

Think of it this way....atleast you were not rear ended by a one legged drunk driver doing 100mph, on your way home from your first 4x4 event!!!

Get some sleep!

Just want to take a moment and recognize all the good I saw while on the trail.

First, major kudo's for Infernal and his brother Yota for making the long and difficult trek in. You guy's rock! I also appreciate that you were willing to go out of your way to get the stickers done, and even though you couldn't wheel your rig in, you made the huge effort to get them to the folks that ordered them.

Next comes OverRev, who got out of his warm sleeping bag at 4am on Saturday to weld up a J arm that was broken on a rig coming down Cadillac Hill. I also watched you weld up Tex's truck and a couple of others. Thanks for helping out a brother in need.

RocksHurtGood is also a hero! He not only tried to weld up the J-arm while on the rig, but pulled it off so we could bring it back to OverRev when we couldn't to a trail repair. Unfortunatly I was too spent to wheel him back in at 4:30, so he hiked the trail back and then helped the owner (Sorry, never did catch who it was), and helped him get off the trail. You went above and beyond!

Also wanted to say thanks to OOPS!! and MrsOOPS!! for making sure we got out Cadillac Hill without too much hassle, while pulling the Amigo through the tuff spots.

I'm very sure there were lots of other good things people did to help each other out, I just wasn't involved in those. Post up some more atta-boys (girls) for the folks who went out of their way to help.

EDIT: I almost forgot to say a huge "thank you" to BigDog and Ruger for making sure my truck was OK before heading home on Sunday night. You guy's went out of your way, and I just want you to know how much I appreciated your help and support. You guy's ROCK!

Glad to hear you guys made it back alright. I was wondering how you guys were going to get back to Loon. I saw your rig there when I went to get my tow rig.
It was fun having some    ss with you guys.

BLACKDOG

germ, we were more than glad to stick around and help, wish we coulda gotten you home that night though

also, Germ himself was great, he wheeled out to Caddillac at about 2 in the morning to try to help the dude that busted his J-arm.  Didnt even know the guy, but him and RHG and germ's buddy came out to help.

Met a lot of cool people, and got some good help as well

OOPs and Mrs. OOPs, Ryan, Germ, Jack, RHG, thanks for all the help getting FFC back out

I met lots of people also.  Had some good wheeling moments (flopping it right before Walker).  Had some really good food saturday night.  Froze my ass off but it was all good.  Wish we could have had fires next to our camps.

I would like to thank FordFreakChik for feeding my dog. We have only had him for two weeks and he wandered away from our camp and made his way to the smell of bacon. We had to watch the dog closer than our kids, so we finaly tied him up," the dog not the kids" Thanks again. :beerchug:

Hey bro, did you or anyone happen to get good pics of the yellow and the orange rigs running rockwells and 49's? Those things were huge man! I got a couple of blurry pics when they rolled past camp, but I really wanted to see what they had in 'em.
