I have an 86 4runner i just sas i have f250 leafs in the rear and landcruiser leafs in the front im not happy with my front springs
an i was considering putting marlin leafs all the way around and i wanted to know if anyone has used the teraflex revolver shackels on the marlin leafs my only real concern is that the leafs are not wide enough or too skinny to be used with the revolvers also why can't they be used in the front (no one sells for the front they say rear only) is  it because of the off set from the frame to the the leaf itself whats the deal?

(no regards to grammar or puctuation as always)

I'm not sure about the width. I'm pretty sure they have something that will work though.
As far as using them in the front.....you won't need them. Marlins springs flex very well, and you will most likely use every bit of travel in a 14" shock, if not more. Usually the rear end of our rigs is where we have the most travel limitations. Usually because the springs are set further outboard than the front.
Aren't F250 springs a bit on the stiff side?

i wouldnt' know before i did the sas i messed up the head pretty good i sent it out to get the new valves i bought cut and the seats reground waiting to get it back in and test out the flex even though i dont have shocks mounted yet.  im borrowing my girlfriends camera and will have pics posted soon

Revolvers on the front tend to unload when you don't want them to... while driving over logs and rocks.  TeraFlex does make them for the front and rear for 4Runners and trucks.

I would not put the revolvers on the front..on a steep hill climb your axle will try to walk out from under your truck..this will put your front pinion angle to he!! and cause it to bind..next thing is a snapped u-joint and or broken yolk ears or both..
even in the rear I'm not crazy about the way they act...they will fit a toy spring,,just add some washers is all..
Forgiveness is between them and god..
Its my job to arrange the meeting!

I only know one guy that ran revolvers on this CJ-7 and it made it really unstable on and off road.  Put some  :turtle:  springs on or have some custom Alcans built instead.  If you have plenty of time (6 months plus) try the orbit eye springs from AOR that are manufacture by Alcan.
1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.

thanx for all the input!  I figured that they would act similar to an elipitic setup but a cheaper or less time consuming, but i guess u get what u pay for. in this case not spending 150-200 bucks  was a good idea thanks again.
