Currently researching my Build up.86 4runner, 22re, Auto but going 5spd. I was planning doing Marlin's 5" SAS kit with 37 x 14 Bias Iroks on 15x10 wheels with 3 3/4 bs. Will I need to trim or how much will I need to trim? Is is essential that the box be moved forward during the SAS? Thanks!

I'd go for 3.5 or3" BS wheels to help keep some clearance and stability.  You'll prolly have to trim the front fenders and tub the firewall a little to eliminate rubbing, or set up some bumpstops to keep the tires outta the steel...

You *should* be ok in the rear, but may have to trim the trailing edge of the fender a little...

It not essential to move the box forward, but it sure is a good idea.  The factory mounts were never designed with big tires in mind.  I'd plate each side with some 1/4" and box the top, as well as sleeve the holes to make a super sturdy steering box mount.  If that fails on the trail...well it just sucks.

To clear 37's you will need to cut and pach the firewall.

If your running toy axles I'd go with 2.5 in back spacing. I like TSL's but would like to try boggers.

I have Marlin 4" fronts and run a 36-13.5 15 Irok on 15X10 with 3.75 backspacing and 1.5" spacers infront.  I have trimmed my fenders about 2" and rarely touch the back of the fender/firewall area under full stuff with the wheel turned.
