ok so as i build aa front axle i wold like to take a crack at setting up gears. i plan to put 4:56's in. i was wondering if any one could recommend a gear vendor to buy from. i assume marlin's are good. also ease of set-up is what i am looking for. and what else will i need. i have a dial indicator with magnetic stand, and torque wrenches. i have found several write-ups. no toyota ones though. but i get backlash, and gear pattern. thanks in advance.
You win some, you lose some.

marlin sells youkon gears,,wich I have found to be better gears...the lifetime warranty gears just don't seem to hold up to the beating thatthe youkons do...once you get them you can have bobby cryo them for chep..
Forgiveness is between them and god..
Its my job to arrange the meeting!

Toyminator

Zuk's site is a great resource for setting up Toyota gears.

FIREBALL

The yukon gears come with directions including torque, backlash and pattern specs. A shop press is very helpful too.
