Friday Evening MCR4 Caravan

Well I've been posting my plans all over the place, so I just figured I would start a thread on the matter.

I will be leaving Fresno (93703) Friday afternoon at about 3pm.

I will be at HW50 and Scotts Road at about 6pm.

I will be at Loon Lake at about 9 or 10pm.

I plan on airing down and night wheeling to Ellis Creek to Camp, or if I am a bit ahead of schedule, wheel all the way to Spider Lake.

I then want to wake up pretty early and make for the Springs, and if the trail is clear, I want to be at the springs before Lunch on Sat.

Now this pace is assuming I don't break down or stop for much. This won't leave any time for the old sluice or the little sluice. I think I just want to jam in and get to the springs so I can help out with the rest of the crew who should already be there by the time I get there.

So on the way out, I will play around, but on the way in it will be strictly business. If you want to play and sightsee, then dont caravan with me

I am going in on friday night too.  I don't know if I will be with you or not but I am going to sleep at the little sluice then the next day I will go to the springs

At this point, I will most likely not make the Sluice to camp. It looks like I will be taking a good friend from Selma with me (he has a 2nd gen shortbed) who has never ran the trail before... If it's just myself, I can haul butt and get to the Little Sluice, but if im with someone I am not sure. That would be nice to make it all that way

Mike what time you plan on hitting Ice House Rd. ??
