Parts from the gas filler neck, maybe more.  Your're in Fresno right.  PM me your phone number and I'll call you.

Well started the teardown today. Woke up at 4:30am and couldn't go back to sleep :o  so I hit the garage. Here's some pic's.

The top of the fuel take looked this nice so I painted the bottom to match.

I also removed the fuel sender to take a look inside. It looked as new as the top. I wasn't sure that the odometer was right at 78,000 but  when the Reg came it said 78,000. I still wasn't  sure but today I say something that comfirmed it I post Pic's of the hint that this is a low mileage Cruiser tomorrow.
I'm also having to change the bellhousing to a FJ40 bellhousing because their is no previsions for the bellhousing mounts. (Thanks CruzrDave)
Painted it up and it's ready to go on.

CruzrDave and I have been talking about what to do about the perch problem. Because the spring perches have to be moved in 1.00" on each side to compensate for the narrower frame there is a problem. When you move the spring perch over on the passenger side of the axle the perch starts to move into line with the third member, so now the u-bolt won't go on with out hitting the third member. I've got a few ideas to remedy the problem. I'll post up some pic's of the problem latter..Dean

The end of the yardstick is where the middle of the spring is and the yellow mark is where the edge of the spring is.
