What would be a fair price to ask?

I don't have the room to part it out.

I know I won't be able to get what I put into it.

EDIT: These parts will also be included

Truck comes with Scott Wilson tube doors, the stock 4.10 rear diff with Lockrite installed, stock birfs, stock rear axles, full doors, 48 inch Hilift Jack and stock rims on 31's with about 75% tread.

Thanks for your help!

No way, have you even gotten it out to break it in yet?  I cant imagine selling that rig after JUST getting it all done....

So what is the new interest?  If you dont mine my asking?

I am starting to get into Muscle cars, mostly Mustangs.

Just bought a 2000 Coupe for the wife and I love it.  I want one for me.

I can work on these in the garage and not worry about ride hight.  That and places to drive them aren't being closed.

That's funny, I used to be into muscle cars and street bikes, decided to quit trying to kill myself street racing, bought my 1st 4x4 and found I could play in the dirt legally and not kill someone street racing.

Right on it was the opposite for me basically.  Im the youhgest of 3 brothers and both older brothers were into hot rods.   I liked going fast but wanted a yota bad so I ended up with a V8 yota. :gap:

Good luck with it, I hate to see ya get out of it but I wont hold it against ya this time. ;)

For your truck Id say 10 would be a goop place to start to the right buyer but most likely you'd be lucky to see 8k unfortunately.

8k is a lot higher than I was going to start at.

The body is beat to :pokinit: but everything else is almost brand new.

Guess a better question would be, what is the minimum I should accecpt?

WHITE_TRASH

I wouldnt take less than $4500 no matter what.  Between just the parts and labor you've certainly got more than that in it.

Figure about 1/3 of what you spent on parts/labor plus the Kelly blue book value for the truck in the condition it is in for your area.  Unfortunately since it still needs gears and tires to complete it, it will be hard to get more than $4k for it from most buyers.  You could ask more for it if you finish it and clean up the body, however it may not sell very fast.  Most people while willing to buy a truck and spend $10k on it aren't willing to buy one already built for $10K.  I have seen rigs that have $20k invested into them sell for under $7k(almost market value for stock rig).  Unless you find a sucker w/a lot of cash, you are going to loose money, you just have to figure out how much you are willing to loose.

It has 5.29s installed.  The only thing it will need is larger tires.

The parts listed are all extra, it is ready to go right now.

Have you thought about finding someone with a similar investment into a muscle car that is looking to trade for a 4x.  I would search the muscle car forums, and post a proposed trade on Craigslist.com for your area(or within driving distance).  You might find someone willing to trade a muscle car or other car of equal value(that you could turn around and sell) for your truck.  This would probably be the best way of getting back most of your investment, it should be better than trying to sell it here or on other 4xBBS.
