I've seen it done before, I've just never needed it. :driving: :burnout:

you must be one of those guys that just loves to side step the brake and clutch eh?

It make life so much easier.

The vid probably works but not for my computer, it's old and slow.  For some reason it doesn't like to download .WMV and various other video files, all I get is text.  And I just windows xp pro reinstalled just last week!  For x-mas we are getting a new comp.  And we are going to  :_order:  this one!  Can't complain for being almost 7 years old with just minor problems.  Pictures no problem!!

This is what I'm going to install on my truck. It is made for outside but it can be put inside, and you can put it anywhere you want.

Control your truck's idle from outside the cab with these Throttle Cables.

These vernier throttle cables are simple to operate and built to last. Turn knob counter-clockwise to raise idle and press center button to release. The center release button covers the internal cable mechanism to make it weatherproof. Cable is duraflex coated to keep water out. Installation hardware not included. Order long and cut to the length needed. See AI-50A for mounting hardware. Made in USA.

$50.00

the same cable is available at NAPA...part # is a 732-1128, IIRC...I'll double check tomorrow at work, and get a price.

Please do!  I'm looking at running one sometime and if I could get one locally, that would be even better.

OK, I was wrong...it's a 731-1128...If you go into a NAPA, tell them you were quoted $64.00, otherwise, they sell for like 80.00!  That is a very heavy duty cable.  10feet long with a 3/32" cable.  We also have thinner cables, like 1/16", that have a T handle and turn 90* to lock...just another idea.

or $7 for a brake cable and lever   :yesnod:

I know, believe me, its not cheap at all...it's not something I would hook up in a truck, either, I was just giving him a local option, instead of ordering something.
