i think its time to move my gas tank

im thinking about moving my stock gas tank on my 85 4runner to get more clearence. But I'm not sure where the hell to put it !!
It would be slick if you guys gave me the run down and some pics of what you have done because im sick of useing my gas tank as a skide plate.

put a fuel cell behind the rear seat. Problem solved, cept you will lose storage back there.

yeah i kinda want to keep away from that, i like sleeping back there when im camping.

2 small tanks, 1 on each side, leaves enough room for you in the middle?

If you have a body-lift you can remove that extension that is there for the room needed for seating and then remount it and it will sit higher up like a pickups. Just take a good look at a pickup then look at what they did and you'll see what I'm talking about.

just get rid of it you'll save money on gas

Mount it sideways between the frame rails just behind the rear axle where the spare tire goes.

yeah thats what i was thinking...................but then i was thinking about choping the ass end off to so that idea is out the window as well!
