How do I get an animated .gif to play in my avatar??

well  if it's a  anamated.gif  it shoud play

I've got a .gif on my avatar and its not playing but if i open it off my comp it plays fine.

Did you resize it? If you did then it won't play unless you use a gif animator to resize it.  You could try linking to the gif you posted here.

I think it's because it's too big to upload, I have the restriction at 90kb max. You would be best off uploading it to another server, and then "linking" to it instead of uploading it

If you had to resize it to fit you flattened it out and it won't play, when you resize you are only resizing the image currently showing.
