My egr is no longer hooked up and Im only running 6 total vacuum lines on my 94.  Ive still got the evap canister, high idle solenoid, fuel pressure regulator and pcv valve hooked up.  When I have time Ill make plates to block the egr off at the head and the intake.  I havent noticed any loss of power and everything still functions as it should.  Id highly recomend that if you sdnt have the smog nazi's to worry about you rip all the :pokinit: out of there.

Pretty much everything can go away.  Just leave the basics like the brake booster, pcv, fuel pressure regulator and evap canister.  the rest can be tossed.  I left the high idle solenoid functioning so Ill have high idle when I turn the a/c switch on with the onboard air but otherwise its all crap.  The vacuum line rail between the intake and valve cover can be tossed aswell.  It looks soooo much cleaner under my hood now.

Yea if you just take it off you'll have UBER exhausl leaks. :hahaha:

I cut the flanges off my air tube fromt he exhause and welded a washer over the hole and welded the small hole in the washer shut and put them back on.  That was actually the first thing I did to this engine beings the header doesnt have a provision for air tubes.
