I am about to SAS & I wanted to know if it is worth piecing your own kit together using Marlins or FRORs hanger kits or just biting th ebullet & going a Marlin or All Poo Kit.  I can't wrench or weld very well & I don't even know which exact springs, shocks, etc I should get.  But I would rather learn & save $$$ than just pay for a kit & a mechanic. Any advice? I know I am nooby as fcuk... but you gotta start somewhere right  :stopit:

Nooby hasnt got anything to do with it. Its afreakin hard question, im still trying to figure it out as well. I have finally made up my mind to just go with a marlin kit. Take a welding class at a comm college or something, that should give you enough knowledge and stick time to beable to do the welding for the kit. Not a whole lot to it really. Im just waiting for some financial issues to go away then ill be calling marlin for my kit. Dont by All Poo   :turtle:

If your near me I will do the work for you a hell of a lot cheaper than any shop will and the work will be just as good.  I have built and beat two trucks now from the ground up and nothing I have made has broken and that type of work is something I like to do. just my :twocents:
