I have a 85 toy with bucket seats and I want to get some new ones.  I'm going to the pick&pull this weekend and was wondering what makes and models will work with my truck?  I heard celica's between 80-87 would work.  Could use a little more info to make my stay at pick& pull a short one. If anyone has any info it would be appreciated.   Thanks.

Quote4.  CHEAP ACURA INTEGRA SEAT UP GRADE

Some time ago I found a set of really sweet seats in a 1988 Acura Integra at the junkyard.  These seats are the perfect size for a Toyota Truck or 4runner and are really easy to install.  I paid a whole $15 a piece for the seats.

Installation is simple.  Remove the four bolts on each corner of your existing bucket seat.  If you have a bench seat, there should only be a total of four bolts. One on each corner.  Remove old seats, and gather all that spare change that is under them.

One your Acura seats, you will have to bend down the two rear tabs to make them flat. Then lay your seat in the position, you may find that two holes already match up with the existing mounting holes.  Match those up and use the Toyota bolts to seat them.

On the existing holes, simply drill into the floor and make new holes. Make sure you are not drilling into anything important under the truck.

Be sure to use at least Grade 8 nuts and bolts for your new seat mounts.  Also, on the new holes that you have drilled, be sure to use some really big washers to sandwich your sheet metal for more strength in case of a crash.

Pretty much any bucket out of a compact car or truck will work just fine.  SOme you'llhave to drill a couple new holes for but thats not such a big deal.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Yeah, thanks for the info, but I'm trying to get bucket seats with the least amount of work involved for me to put them in my truck. I'll definately look at intergras when I get to the yard. Any other make and model suggestions?  :headscratch:

Mine are out of a 02 Celica.

This is the only picture I have that somewhat shows my seats.  They are EXTREMELY low, but ungodly comfortable.  You can tell how low they are by how low my old lady is.  They actually fit perfectly, I did have to drill new holes and throw in some spacers to make them sit level.  The passenger side seat sits a little to the side because I only put two bolts in it (they're freaking 3/4" bolts anyway) so it will rock every now and then when it gets knocked around.

Then again there's some seats at CSK for $100, with the holes for the harness and they're comfy too

No matter how you say that, it sounds like I want to put her on a porn site.  Uh, nope, there's no way to reword that so it sounds right.
