is it worth it, if you had the money would you buy one?
consider 2 things #1 i get a 155amp alt #2 i dont want to build one,i have read the wright ups--id want somthing proven to work all the time



or buy a car trailer (this is a bit of hine sight)

didn't know they made alts that big for a yoat.  I've seen 'em in action, fixing a tie rod at the 'Con, they're definitely worth the money, I think. :twocents:

They make a mount adapter that allows a modified GM 165amp to fit.  Get one, you'll be glad you did!

over rev has one and someone used it to weld something back on his 4runner. Seemed to work good... Maybe he will see this thread and reply to it on his opinions.

the guy that owns premier lives near me. my friend's dad is building a house for him soon and part of the payment is that we might get a couple. i can't wait.
is it bad when you unplug the power wire from your stereo and it still plays

not sure what one erik-d-lux on the tc board uses but its way kick ass..If I was to buy a portable welder thats the one i'b buy..with duel batteries there is nothing it won't weld..its very impressive..he welded some stuff up for me at tsf a while back and it did a kick ass job,,granted you need duel batts to make it work tits,,but duel batts and kewl..

Another option is the Mobi-arc, which I've also heard good things about. If your wheel alot, it's worth it's weight in gold.. It's on my list of things to get, but still have a few more important things to finish first.
