Has anyone had any experience with this kit?  From what I have read on other sites it seems to be a great product.

Does the alternator bolt right up etc.....

Love mine!  Bolted it to a 20R originaly.  Bracket looks hokey but does the job.  Had to install from the bottom, couldn't do it from the top of the engine.  Wiring is simple enough.  Depending on where you put the control box, you may need longer cables.  Any competent welding supply store can make them for you in just a few minutes.

You'll like it...

Sounds good! Thanks for the reply. Do you have to upgrade the alternator wiring since it puts out over twice the amps?

Nope, comes with 99% of the stuff you need, simple instructions.  Heck I did it..

how much you pay for it. i've bin stick welding on the trail with two batteries thinkin about upgradin
I'd like to quit thinking of the present as some minor insignificant preamble to something else~~~~~
