« on: Jul 31, 2005, 12:36:49 PM »
is there a trick to gettin them out if they are severly rusted in there...and i read my manual and it said you need a press to free the axle shafts up, and i know you guys do it on trail so i was wondering is there is any trick to freeing these suckers up so i can get them out...

After you pull the e-brake cable, brake line and the 4 14mm nuts off just get back and give it s swift kick from the back it'll pop out.  Its typical for them to be a bit difficult.

yeah,I tried this method the first time I changed mine, let say it was easier to just bring it to a shop that could press the old one out and the new one in, mine were really tight maybe you'll be lucky.
