Let's see some shots of your tow rig. You know that thing you use to get your 4x4 rig to the trail-head. I have a 35 ft. Rockwood motorhome, it's a 3 axle Chevy chasis with a mildly built 454 and a Turbo 400 trans with an underdrive. There are more goodies on this thing, in fact every now and then I find something that I didn't know was there, like the mood lighting that's hidden above my curtains. It has all of the usual ammenities that are found on every motor home and also a built in blender, food proccesser, can opener, mixer, etc, etc. An ice maker, water purification system, vanity, seperate bathroom area, dual air, backup camera, overhead spot light, rear spot lights, side courtsy lights lighted storage boxes, lighted cabinets, air control system so on and so on. Also if you didn't notice the trim is real wood, all the cabinets and tables.(this thread would suck without pics) Here's a few shots of it for your viewing pleasure:

No pics of the head, they all look the same and you probably don't want to see it anyways.

Heres my F250, Loaded and ready to go.
'84 Hilux, locked, dual-cased, winched, EFI converted, 37" tired, half-doored (in the summer...)
'87 Supra, 400 HP.  smooth as glass at 130 'cause my tires are NEW!...
'92 F250 Diesel, tow rig, ATS Turbo, leveling kit, killer stereo

The first pic is actually in Las Cruces, at this years Chile Challenge.  The second pic is taken in front of the house.  You can just see the old Supra chillin in the garage  :driving:

My tow rig is a 92 F-250 with the 7.3L IDI diesel.  No, not the powerstroke, not even turbocharged (yet).  Right now it pulls the load fine but runs outta steam on the big hills.  Hopefully, after the wedding I'll get that ATS turbo kit I've had my eye on.  I was hoping that my fiancee ordered it for my B-Day today, but I guess it's a little too spendy for that  :eyebrow:

Rocksurfer-
I was so busy posting up pictures of my junk that I forgot to comment on yours.  Looks like a luxurious way to go wheelin!  I'll definitely be jealous when I'm in a tent on the ground next time out.

I think we're gonna get a slide-in camper for the truck, at least for now.  I'm looking around for a good deal, maybe somebody will trade me a nice one for the 90 Toy 4x4 I want to sell...

Just!? Sounds like a very good tow rig. I think the Lantherian Battle Wagon is a diesel pusher which would beat me all to hell. It is very well appointed though, just about everything you need for roughing it. :yesnod:   Even for the size, it will pull the hills real good, probably due to the underdrive. I did have a couple other tow rigs but I had just too many vehicles so I sold my Dodge 300 Ram Van class b motor home and my Ranger. The cool thing about the van was I could park it in a regular stall and it had a sink, stove, refrig, bathroom and room to sleep 2 adults and 2 kids. Sold that to a fellow club member and he is a member on the board here and may post pics of it.

Don't get me wrong, I love to tent camp on the trail, well that's why I have a shell on my truck I just sleep back there now. Still, we started in tents until my wife's neck injury which really limits what and where she can go these days. So I've run the gammet on camping as much as the types of 4x4's I've had. After her surgery's I got a cab-over slide in and put on my 84 Yota that was lifted 6 inches, on 33's, was quite the site going down the highway, then when I got my 4Runner I got an 18 ft travel trailer, then I bought a 27' class A and towed the 4Runner with it, then I got the Ram Van and presently I have the Rockwood.
