My names Dustin I live in portland OR, I bought my 83' shortbed for $1400  about 5 years ago because of the better mpg.  Since then it has gone through the usual pirate/marlin treatment, well as much as my wallet permitts.  front and rear 5.29's and detroits, hi-steer, 22re out of a celica, fuel cell, bucket seats, viper alarm system, HID lights, bobbed bed, tube front bumper that I built, running 33'' baja claws hopefully new 35'' or 37'' mtrs by winter time, warn 9500ti that hasent even been out of its box. Flat bed in the works and a new front bumper to mount the winch.
1983 short bed 5.29 and detroits, 22re, SKY's hi-steer, HID lights, 35'' MTRs, fuel cell, 9500ti, 4'' Marlin Springs, 30 spline longs, 3rz swap soon!
