Well it's the stock motor, no mods done to it. Marlin dual case setup, front lockright locker, stock TRD rear e-locker, 37" MT/R's, 15x10 rims, 44044 front springs, 63" Chevy's, Toyota Celica seats, Pioneer deck, Infinity speakers, 130 watt KC slimlights, Jetta side blinkers, 8 rock lights, 100 watt siren system, Optima red top...hmmm what else LOL

Why don't you like MT/R's? They work fine for me, it's my daily driver and weekend wheeler, got any suggestions for a better tire?

iroks suck balls for highway driving, but they are damn good offroad. stick with your mtrs if this is your daily driver. i love mine. go mtr. :eyebrow:
is it bad when you unplug the power wire from your stereo and it still plays

Sweet truck! Do you know someone named Kyle M. that lives in Chico? He showed me a picture of a truck that looks exactly like it yesterday.
RIP Kyota.... you are the man

GET IT!!!

RK

My buddy has IROKS, in a month ive watched them got from new to almost bald. Most of what I hear on MTRs is all bad. But I guess its just personal preference?

if you've watched them bald in a month, why, oh why, would you say they are better than mtrs. mine have 5,000 miles on them and still have about 60% left.

Im just goin off what ive seen and heard. Hell, my puni TXRs made it thru a couple spots where a set of MTRs got stuck, and vis versa. Of course there was a lot of  :haha:  at the MTRs, but I was  :lipsrsealed: , ya never know when itll be your turn to get ownd. From what Ive seen so far, it all depends on your style of wheelin, and not necessarily the terrain. But Ill admit, im still fairly wet behind the ears to wheelin, so till im runnin on your level,  , and il be  :working:.  I just dont wanna come off as a prick..................yet.

oh, didnt mean to uh... :offtopic:

Do you get any flak about your front bumper?  Im not sure if laws are the same where are, but here in WA I know theres a law on a minimum amount of flat surface space allowed on the front bumpers.

hmm I didn't know that, where in washington do you live.  I'm in the southeastern part and I haven't heard anyone tell me that yet (I have a pretty flat bumper but yeah thats new to me) I knew we had a maximum height that our bumper can be but not a minimum amount of flat surface

Reynolds

I thought about Radial Iroks but they are still a Swamper and won't get half the mileage that MT/R's get. MT/R's suck in mud, plain and simple. I live in CA and avoid mud as much as I can.

And our laws are regarding headlight height, not flatness on a bumper  :screwy:

WAC 204-90-040 Body requirements.

(6) Bumpers : A special motor vehicle shall be equipped with a bumper on both the front and rear of the vehicle with the exception of motor vehicles where the original or predominant body configuration, provided by a recognized manufacturer, did not include such bumper or bumpers in the design of the vehicle. For the relevant model year, bumpers must accommodate recognized manufacturer impact absorption systems per applicable Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Bumper Standards or equivalent standards.
Bumpers are optional equipment on vehicles defined as street rods and kit vehicles by the Washington state patrol vehicle inspectors.
Bumpers, unless specifically exempted above, shall be at least 4.5 inches in vertical height, centered on the vehicle's centerline, and extend no less than the width of the respective wheel track distances. Bumpers shall be attached to the vehicle in a manner equivalent to the original manufacturer's installation. Bumpers shall be horizontal load bearing and attach to the vehicle frame to effectively transfer energy when impacted.
The maximum bumper heights will be determined by weight category of gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) measured from a level surface to the highest point on the bottom of the bumper. For vehicles exempted from the bumper requirement for the reasons stated above, a maximum frame elevation measurement shall be made to the bottom of the frame rail. Maximum heights are as follows:

   Front    Back
Passenger Vehicles    22 Inches    22 Inches
4,500 lbs. and under GVWR    24 Inches    26 Inches
4,501 lbs. to 7,500 lbs. GVWR    27 Inches    29 Inches
7,501 lbs. to 10,000 lbs. GVWR    28 Inches    30 Inches

Adding an additional bumper will not meet the above requirements.

i don't get any trouble with johnny law. colorado has barely any car laws. i get crap from my friends cause its so damn ugly. the guy before me built it to protect the radiator for the 5.0. i hate the bumper. i'm in the midst of building something new.

We don't have mud and logs in the same form that others have mud and logs LOL One time at Hollister, it had rained previously, and I was navigating logs and mud, MT/R's just slide around LOL

Thanks for the props! After building up my truck, I think I should've built up an older Toyota to scoot around in. Much cheaper to deal with, but now I got all the mods on this, might as well keep it
