Reiter Pit clean up!
« on: Jul 19, 2005, 02:39:50 PM »
I am planning a reiter pit clean up for Saturday, September 3rd 2005. Reiter is getting too trashed for its own good. The wall has had problems with trash for a long time and we need to keep reiter open for many reasons. Some of those reason are the location is perfect, not too far from big cities and it doesn't take long to get there. If Reiter closes, where are we to go? Reiter is very open to anything, bring what you got and you will find somewhere to explore. I plan to get a group of people up there and fill trucks up with whatever trash you see. Reply if you intend to show up. If not enough people reply I might just go up on my own time during the week and filling my truck up. Thank you guys!

As of now, I have two trucks going up on the third. It's a good cause. The wall is closed and who knows what else is next? What if they barricade the road going to the actual pits. What if they barricaded 95% of the trails? Do it for the hippies!

Hopefully more people show up. It will be about 11 am start. I will be in a full size ford truck (yota not done yet) on 35"s unless someone has some tires I can borrow because mine arent great offroad tires...It will work though.

:shake:    you know if this were a post for a wheeling trip there would be tons of replys.  I am for sure up to a clean up but I can only come sunday because I work saturdays,  However i do get off at 3:00pm I could come after that.  What do you think? :dunno:    I have never been to rieter so this will be good experience.
