Cops for Kids run, Saturday July 16th

The Nor Cal Krawlers (located in Chico, CA) are having their annual(I think) Cops for Kids run. I couldnt tell you much about it. What I do know is that they are meeting at the Butte Meadows, CA helicopter pad at 8am. I think they are shooting to get into one of the high lakes, but I have no idea. I will probably be there. Or at least try. I will be in my 81 Toy, Its a Longbed, blue and it has 37s.

I think BLUCRUZ might know some things about it. Maybe he will reply to this thread and let us all know more. It is on his calendar on his website ( http://www.pairodice4x4.com ).

This is a run where they take kids & a chaperone from Chico along with Chico PD officers up into the hills to give those kids that wouldn't normally get to do things like this the experience of light 4 wheeling. I don't believe they are going towards the High lakes. I was told Colby Mt. lookout and maybe around to the humbug summit area. Drivers meeting at 8am sharp we leave around 9am and returns before 3pm. There is some talk of a bbq afterwards for the drivers at the Bambi Inn or Outpost, I'm not sure though.

Well I really dont think Ill be able to make it. My luck right now is crap. I keep trying to get stuff done on my truck and its not working at all. Its starting to make me mad but oh well. Plus I need to buy new shocks now and I dont have money. So I think I am acutally not going to be able to make it
