Headlight short?

Hello,
I was driving home from work tonight and my headlights started flickering and immediately went out. Fortunately, I had my 100W KCs to blind all others. I was glad I had them, although I am sure others were not of the same opinion. Atleast I got home. My question is, if no fuses are blown, why are my headlights not operating? I recently had to replace my right headlight from rock damage, but I did not replace the left headlight because it is still sealed, looks great, and is totally functional. By just replacing one headlight, would that have anything to do with the headlights going out? Is there a common place that might be known for shorting out and causing the headlights not to work? It is funny because neither high or low beams work. My tailights and turn signals work, but my hazards do not. Is there a reason for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. WHITE TRASH, are you out there? Help!
Thanks guys (and gals),
Pete Kupfer

Did your hazards work before this happened?  Have you checked to see if youfried the ground for the headlights?  It sounds like either the ground fried/broke or the wiring for the headlights has an issue or 2.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

I haven't checked the ground yet. Is it fairly easy to find? My hazards did indeed work before.
