Go to Home Depot and get some grey or black rustoleum hammer tone...I put it on my new jeep fenders on my runner (don't ask) and it looks like that...reflects light like the mettalic stuff too, garauntee it was much cheaper too!

It looks great, I couldn't do it though...me and trees don't get along well, they jump out in my way and screw up my body work.

they are trimmed stockers, unless your refering to the jeep cherokee fenders on ctengs truck?

crawlerdan

heres a closeup of the top, i used 320 grit paper to sand it down, the sealed, primed and shot 6 coats o paint! :ha_ha:

looks awesome.  I want to do new paint job on my rig (not dont by shop but myself) and I can't decide if its worth it when I wheel.  I'd hate to scratch it after all that work.  But it looks really nice  :yesnod:

crawlerdan

try macco or something like that, the whole job would be 3-4 hundred, then, if you scratch it, it wont matter as much as a 5500 dollar job!

Skinny_Pedal

macco doesnt lay down crap paint. itc actually good. it not rocket science to paint a car. its all in the prep work. so if you do all the prep yourself and then take it to macco. you will have a car with a good paint job. its always in the prep work
Im an OG

crawlerdan

very true, but, i got my 85 painted there a few years back and they wouldnt warrenty the job because i did the prep, and they couldnt guarantee that i did it right :nonono:

bigdaddypoppop

Looks great.  Lets go scratch it up on some cactus...

crawlerdan
